Post Jam-mortem Update!

Yo doods!
Welcome to the first update on this little jam game I tried to make; but life said "Nah" to... Although everyone who commented on the page was understanding that it was just a tech demo since I wasn't able to finish the full prototype in time. I hope they all get to see this and feel like it's been greatly improved!

There's TONS of little fixes that make the game feel a lot better in this update! And also some pretty nice additions that I'm confident will take previous experiences and make them obsolete!

Skippable Intro and Tutorial
Did you not like the intro? Bad voice acting? Nothing going on? Paced too slow? Or seen it about 100 times?! ME TOO! Trust me I made it. Now you can skip it and skip the tutorial to get right into the action!

NO LAND!
I loaded up the player with a ton of land spheres in the jam tech demo. Mainly to avoid the issue where you'd run out. But just in case I made it so if you had no land spheres left to use the menu would just turn off. After some issues and a little pixel work I got a nice little icon showing off that you're out of land!

Interface for Builder Menu!
In general the builder menu got a bit of a sprucing up! From a bigger and better placed toggle button prompt to having the right button appear!

Placeholder Music Track
I made a little bop to slap into the game so there's something to listen to!

Environment Sounds + Weather
Right now there's only the snow land spheres so I added in some wind sounds and different weather effects! Weather can also change over time!

Randomized Objects!
It's hard to make a rogue styled game with proc gen without good use of proc gen! Each object has the chance to go away or to be randomly turned. This is according to specific settings I've set for each object. So if the object shouldn't rotate; it wont. And if I design an area where something HAS to be there; I can make it impossible to delete.

This simple system mixed with weights that I can set on the fly object to object, area to area; should make a HUGE difference in how the game feels.

Of course NEW LAND CHUNKS!
I had to add in some new land chunks of course! I mean without some more areas to check out; I feel like all these improvements go to waste.

Sphere Hand Randomization!
In the jam version you get copies of the same land sphere. And even after creating new land there's no way to actually get them at the start. Until now! I coded up a randomization system so now you get 3 random land spheres at the start of the run.

Refined Attachment Points
Before there was a huge area where you could attach land chunks. Which sounds great! But felt a bit off so I refined the area a bit more to where the connection orbs are :D

Collecting Reality Spheres!
You can now collect Reality Spheres! Pretty sweet right?!

How do you collect them though? While I show them in the GIF above just laying around. You'll find them in chests! I know really creative. Right now I'm building more of a framework so chests are important! They randomly appear and will always contain a land sphere.

Save Towers!
I'm not 100% what I'm really building beyond a sandbox generator; honestly event he story is just a prototype. This to me is more of a framework for other projects. So I needed a way to save, and wanted something more than a little checkpoint that you don't see. So I coded up a little tower that when activated will bring you back to it when you die aka fall off the edge of the map. As there's no hazards in the project right now.

And there's lots of other little fixes and adjuments! I wanted to get this out ASAP after the jam! Mainly because I knew there was severe issues and just wanted to put the project out there.
So let me know what you think, what you want to see; and any bugs in the according threads below! All support and test playing is super appreciated!
