Flight 1: To New Heights UPDATE

The Flight 1: To New Heights update is the foundation build of this tiny game about a balloon I had when thinking "Wow what's a stupid simple concept but could look cool" at a café.
You won't find a challenge or anything overly polished in this build; it's more of a "Here's what I'm trying to do" with a full game loop to explore. Complete with some sound effects, controller support; and basic features.

Up first is the GAME LOOP which is complete in this build! Lately I've been prioritizing game loops over anything else. Until I can finish a game loop at a very basic level; nothing will be worked on.
You start at the "main menu" which offers some information and right now only one option; to play.
Then when you play the balloon flies away and now you're controlling the balloon as it drifts above!
Once the balloon pops a game over screen will pop up with some stats and the option to ready to go back down.
Then it starts AAAAALLLLL OVER AGAIN!
It's a complete loop that just works.

Next up is the BALLOON CONTROLS which are really simple. The balloon will always go up no matter what. But, you can sway it side to side, accelerate it upward; or slow it down some. You can also pop your balloon if you want, this is needed to finish the game loop currently as no hazards exist.

Then we have the SCORING SYSTEM which is the main incentive to keep playing. Your scoring is determined by how far you've traveled into the sky! When you beat your high score the high score text will be updated and when you finish a run your high score is SAVED! 

Beyond those basic features there's some sound effects you'll hear! A track I whipped up just to give the game a little more atmosphere. There's also some fun graphics! I have a little character and the start of a town that I'll likely actually build up later so you have something fun to look at for a bit as you float up. There's animations for the various interface pieces as well; just a bit of polish splashed here and there.
